My Personal Carry

The DS is the perfect size for me, and since I grew up with it, the games feel nostalgic even if I bought the game recently. With access to both DS and GBA games, I’ll have more than enough to keep me entertained for a long time.

I prefer dotted notebooks because they are flexible, great for both notes and small sketches (or a mix of both). Personally, I use the Paperage notebooks since they are cheap and work for my needs. If I want something smaller, I bring the Field Notes, which often come in compact three-packs and it easily in a pocket or bag.

I usually only read one book at a time, so I only bring whatever I’m currently reading. I’m a big fan of fantasy books, but every now and then I change it up. Usually, I will bring a physical book with me because I like the feel of paper more but if a book is too bulky, I’ll get it for my Kindle. I was slightly critical of Amazon and the Kindle on the e-readers page, but mine was a gift and it still works completely fine, so there’s no much reason to switch at this point for me.

I’m not a big audiophile, so most earbuds work fine for me. I just use the Apple wired earbuds. Sound is so subjective that you really just need to find what works best for you. I mostly use Spotify for convenience, but I also own an iPod and a DVD player for music that I really love and want to support directly.

I bring a small bag often, for comfort and accessibility. I don’t like putting things in my pants or coat pockets, it’s uncomfortable and just makes everything feel and look bulky. The Uniqlo round bag is perfect for most days, it’s lightweight and isn’t too big. If I need to carry bigger items, I switch to my Topologie bag, which has more space and pockets but still isn’t massive.
